Talks

My preferred format is a short talk of about 20 minutes followed by the opportunity to craft with a few stalks of corn.

Talks are tailored to your group.
For example:- 
A gardening club with an interest in plants may like to learn about growing corn, and about the traditions associated with corn harvests, before trying their hand at some simple marquetry with corn stalks.
A WI group may prefer a more general talk perhaps touching on the plaiting industry, straw fashion, hat making, skekling or corn dollies before being invited to produce attractive plaited hearts to decorate the home.
It is appreciate that some groups may just prefer to listen and handle straw objects. This can be catered for.
